Worship and picnic at Centralia United Church
By Mary Peterson
CENTRALIA CORRESPONDENT
CENTRALIA - On Sun., June 25, the Centralia United
Church celebrated the anniversary of the Sunday School.
Anniversary will be celebrated. Worship was a special
time to recognize the contributions of the teachers and
the children throughout the school year.
Mikayla Skinner and Donna Smith are very committed
to teaching each Sunday. Mikayla organized a wonderful
worship with the theme of God's promises and rain-
bows. She included favourite hymns during worship
such as "Jesus Loves Me", "We Are One", "I Danced in
the Morning" and "It Only Takes A Spark". Scripture
readings were from Mark 10:13-16 and Ephesians 6:1-
3.
Mikayla had a special time for the children. Tate and
Samuel Tindall gave a reading during worship. Mikenzie
Skinner shared her talents with a dance solo and a
piano solo. Rikki-Lee and DeeAndra Skinner sang a
sweet duet. Unfortunately, some children were not able
to attend. We hope to see them again soon.
The children were presented with special certificates
to recognize their pariticipation and wonderful photos of

Proceeds from the June 21 Carlson Wagonlit Ellison
Travel Annual GolfTournament at Ironwood Golf Club
will pay for a kiosk and sign in memory of Gord Strang
at the MacNaughton Morrison Trail. Ellison Travel will
also use proceeds from the tournament to make dona-
tions of approximately $2,000 each to the Crohn's and
Colitis Foundation, the London Regional Cancer
Centre and the MS Society. Doug Ellison, above right,
said last week's 10th annual tournament was the most
successful yet, featuring 144 golfers. He said the tourna-
ment has raised $60,000 in the last I0 years. Pictured

WATER WELL RECORD UPDATE PROJECT
Beginning in late June, staff of the Ausable Bayfield Maitland
Valley Source Water Protection Project will visit landowners
in the Ausable, Bayfield, Maitland, Nine Mile and Shoreline
watersheds to verify Global Positioning System (GPS)
readings of non -municipal well locations.
This project will verify or improve upon existing local
records and gauge the accuracy of provincial well record
information. Field staff will also distribute literature on best
management practices for water wells; proper management
is central to maintaining a healthy water supply for you, your
family and future generations. Landowners will receive a
complimentary aerial photograph of their property, with well
location(s) clearly marked.
For more information or to specify the best time for field
staff to visit you contact:

COZY TWO-BEDROOM Plan No.1-2-603 This comfortable two-bedroom home features an unfinished basement that could provide a third bedroom for
a growing family or serve as a home office, a studio or a mortgage -helper suite. Adding drama to the home's entry, a covered porch is flanked by
pilasters that rest on river -rock pedestals. To the left of the foyer, with its 11 -foot high ceiling, is a den overlooking a veranda and the front garden. To
the right of the foyer, near the basement stairs, are two coat cupboards. The great room features a built-in bar as well as a fireplace, and opens onto a
sundeck. Adjacent is the dining area, with access to a covered deck, the perfect spot for year-round barbecuing. No cook will ever feel isolated in the
kitchen, which is separated from the great room and dining area only by a raised eating bar. As well as lots of counter space, there's a generous pantry.
The master suite overlooks the back garden for privacy, and boasts a walk-in closet as well as an ensuite with a double sink and a shower stall. A linen
closet is conveniently located nearby. The second bedroom is handy to a three-piece bathroom. The laundry room has access to the double garage,
which is turned away from the street and offers a pleasant fagade with a bay window to passers-by. The garage is roomy enough for a workbench or
fitness equipment. The home's exterior is finished in stucco, with accents in wood and river -rock. Windows are partly mullioned. This home is 48 feet
wide and 80 feet deep, for a total of 1,683 square feet of living space. Plans for design 1-2-603 are available for $554 (set of 5), $631 (set of 8) and
$680 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $25.00 for Priority charges within B.C. or $45.00 outside of B.C. Please
add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and Priority charges. Our 38th Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over
300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling). Make all cheques and money orders payable to "Home Plan of the Week" and
