Fleet Mechanic/Apprentice
The Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park near Exeter, has
an immediate opening for the position of Fleet Mechanic and Apprentice.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, as a Fleet Mechanic you will be a key player
in the maintenance and repairs of the Association's fleet of 32 waste and
recycling vehicles and the material recovery facility. Normal working hours are
days or afternoons (no nights). You will receive a competitive salary with
excellent benefits including a pension.
The ideal candidate wit have a truck and coach mechanics license with a DZ
driver's licence. Previous experience in the solid waste industry and/or
hydraulics would be an asset. Any related experience and/or education as a
millwright, fabricator, or electronics would be an asset but is not necessary.
