Unique touches include a fountain in the foyer, which is lit by a skylight. Entry is up three steps. Immediately to the left is an enclosed space designed for parcel drop-off, and beyond that a capacious coat closet. The study is to the right, and beyond are stairs leading to the basement. Beyond the skylit foyer fountain are the living room and formal dining room, both with access to a generous terrace at the back of the home. The dining room boasts a built-in buffet and is separated from the kitchen by double doors. On the kitchen side of these doors is an unusual feature, a butler's pantry, designed for storing the "best" dishes, cutlery, glasses and liquor, and easing entertaining chores. Beyond it is another larger pantry for everyday essentials; an island cooktop is set in the middle of a U-shaped counter configuration. A large breakfast nook forms part of the kitchen, with access to a trellised terrace, as well as to the family room, which has a fireplace. Still on this side of the home, there's a spacious laundry room, with a closet for off-season gear, adjacent to the breakfast nook. The laundry room has access to the double garage, which is roomy enough for a built-in workbench. At the back of the home, near the living room, is the master suite. As well as a walk-in closet, this gracious room features a sitting area with a bayed window. In the ensuite is a soaker tub, as well as a shower. Three more bedrooms are arranged along the side and front of the house, with a split bathroom (the toilet is fully enclosed, as is the bathtub) situated for ultimate convenience. Exterior finishes include siding and stone accents, as well as a weather vane atop a cupola on the garage roof. This home is 80 feet wide and 74 feet four inches deep, with 2798 square feet of living space. Plans include an unfinished basement. Plans for design H1-4-526 are available for $682 (set of 5), $778 (set of 8) and $839 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax.
