E. Reid and Sons Excavating. The Exeter Lions and Lioness donated $6,000 apiece to rebuild the bridge which was washed away in July 2003 with other work on the project performed by Mobile Home Express and Larry BrownLee. (Photos/ Pat Bolen) Harvest service at St. Patrick's By Hazel Davis SAINTSBURY CORRESPONDENT SAINTSBURY — George and Margaret Brock of Lucan called on Hugh and Hazel recently. Courtney MacGillivray is visiting with her parents this Thanksgiving week- end and called on grand- parents Hugh and Hazel Friday evening. Suzanne Davis attended the Zurich Skating Club breakfast on Saturday a.m., friends Marg, Catherine and Matthew Thiel are involved in the club, later calling a broth- er and sister-in-law Bob and Dorothy Deitrich. Margaret and Ron Carroll entertained their family on Saturday for their Thanksgiving dinner and get-together, grand- son Matthew was home from Peterborough College. On Sunday St. Patrick's held their Harvest Service The service was led by Bob MacGillivray assisted by Margaret Carroll, Courtney MacGillivray and Harley Davis and a num- ber from the congrega- tion. Everyone enjoyed the singing of Happy Birthday to Katie -Scarlett Mac- Gillivray who will cele- brate her 20th birthday on Oct. 13 and Stevie MacGillivray who will cel- ebrate her 90th birthday Oct. 15, 2005. Our birth- day wishes go out to cousin Marjorie Davis who will celebrate her 100th birthday Oct. 15 at her residence at Kensington Village Retirement Home, a card has been sent from all of us at St. Patrick's. Everyone enjoyed a birth- day cake, ice cream and juice following the service in the Parish Hall. A day of cleaning planned prior to our Archdeacon's visit also Rev. Stanley & Liz farewell party Oct. 30 was orga- nized also readers and music. Katie -Scarlett enjoyed the band Audioslave held at The John Labatt Centre on Saturday evening. The Davis and MacGillivray families called on parents Hugh and Hazel over the holi- day. A number of families in the community all enjoyed time with friends and loved ones. Ladies to leave Hazel's home at 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 19 to attend Perth Fall Deanery meeting at St. James St. Marys. Ron and Margaret Carroll were lucky Saturday to attend a ball game in St. Marys with their family prior to Thanksgiving celebrations when grandson Mitchell Iredale was playing ball also and opportunity to visit with cousin Edythe Mugford.
