Networking opportunity
HOLMESVILLE — The popular Huron Women in
Networking (HWIN) dinner is back again, sched-
uled for Thurs., Oct. 6, starting at 6 p.m.
The speaker for the event is Natalie Cooney,
who operates a yoga studio in Lambeth, In Good
Health, and her topic title is "Chaos to Calm in 10
Minutes."
Cooney will discuss stress and how it affects
productivity in the workplace and she'll show
some breathing techniques for deep relaxation
and some easy to do "chair yoga."
Cooney brings first-hand knowledge of the bene-
fits of stress reduction on health and environ-
ment. Her studio specializes in therapeutic yoga
and meditation.
Once again the dinner will be hosted by the
Huron Small Business Enterprise Centre and held
at the White Carnation banquet hall in
Holmesville, with social time at 6 p.m. and dinner
at 6:30.
The dinner is geared to women of all ages, not
solely business women, but reportedly several
business deals have been initiated following these
evenings.
The grand prize has once again been donated by
Kathy Nichol, Executive Director of the
Innkeepers of Ontario. It features a one-night stay
for two at one of Ontario's finest inns.
During dinner, those donating door prizes, and
those winning them, will each have an opportuni-
ty to give a one -minute advertisement of their
business/career. At the end of the evening, the
grand prize will be won by a contest challenging
memory of those businesses.
At $25 per person, this is a networking opportu-
nity you can't afford to miss. Bring along a busi-
ness cards and brochures; door prizes are appre-
ciated.
