The wedding ook place in London and the wedding reception took place at the Lucan Community Centre in Lucan - Apologies. Suzanne Davis and friend Marilyn Rohde of Woodham called on Leona Fenton recently while also visiting the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home paying their respects to the sister of George Wilkinson of Lucan. Heather and Bob MacGillivray returned home on Sunday evening after a weekend visit with their daugh- ter Courtney at Penetanguishine. Mitchell and Michelle Iredale had as their visitors, their grandparents Ron and Margaret Carroll on Fri., Sept. 30 for lunch due to a PA day from school. On Sun., Oct. 30, St. Patrick's welcome their newly elected Archdeacon of Perth, The Rev. Dr. Lorne Mitchell, the priest at St. James' Stratford to preach and officiate at the Holy Eucharist Service at 2 p.m. St. Patrick's as a congregation look forward with sad- ness and much joy considering the pleasures we have all experienced with the ten-year period Oct. 1, 1995 to Oct. 30, 2005 with The Rev. Stanley Jay and his wife Liz who felt it's time for a complete retirement. Our best wishes for good health go out to them both. A time of fellowship will follow in the Racey Memorial Hall following the service and presentation. Everyone wel- come. Evening prayer next week to be held on Sunday to cel- ebrate Thanksgiving. Entertainment following the meal consisted of Judy Dougall who will be doing the exercise program starting at 10:30 to 11:30 every Wednesday morning. Some readings were read entitled Teenagers at the mall; and Aprons and their use. Progressive euchre was enjoyed with high winner Jossie Denomme, second high Olivea Bedard and lone hands Helen MacLean. Bingo winners were Marie Gelinas, Marie Whitney; Fred Haberer; Marjorie Reichert (2) Curtis Gingerich; Lottie Grenier. Birthdays for September were Pearl Heimrich; Earl Flaxbard; Marjorie Reichert; MaryLou Denomme and Carl Finkbeiner.
