4-H Club at Kirkton Fair
By Christine O'Reilly
EXETER — The Exeter 4-H Beef Club
met at Carrie and Morgan Powe's.
After being introduced to their calves,
Oreo and Strawberry, the club went
back inside to write the 4-H quiz.
Working together and using the 4-H newsletters avail-
able, members managed to fill in almost all of the
answers. They discussed details of the Achievement Day
at Exeter Fall Fair, and things to remember when
showing. Those who showed their calves in the Kirkton
Fall Fair shared their experiences with the group. A big
thank you goes out to the Powes for holding the meet-
ing, and for providing refreshments afterwards.
