The Supervisor will represent the ABCA on specific local, regional and provincial committees supporting the ABCA mission and vision. Qualifications • Degree from an accredited University plus 8 years experience or Diploma from an accredited College plus 12 years experience in a natural resource management field using planning, engineering and biological principles and skills. • Registered Professional Planner or Professional Engineer designation preferred; • Ability to successfully supervise professional and technical staff in a positive and constructive manner; • Sound working knowledge of municipal land use planning processes, watershed management and related legislation (Planning Act -Provincial Policy Statement, Conservation Authorities Act). • Experience working in and/or knowledge of conservation authorities and rural Ontario; • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to research, prepare and present concise, accurate reports; • Ability to inspect sites of rough terrain in inclement weather; • Possess a valid Class G Ontario Drivers License.
