Organizer (and member of Short Change) Clint Homuth of Exeter described himself as "very pleased" with the show, adding that the attendance (60-70 people) exceeded expectations and the event made money."It was nice of all the bands to come and play.We had a really good night," he added. Homuth, 17, who is attending the University ofWestern Ontario this fall, said it's possible another show will be held next summer, depending on whether or not the bands are still in the area. Worshippers were wel- comed by Janice Alderdice and ushered to their seats by Chuck and Judy Mallette. Les Hills was the minister and opened the service with announcements and the Passing of the Peace. Kathy Mann was the reader and also lit the Christ candle. Hills led the Call to Worship followed by the Prayer of Invocation in unison. "Take My Life and Let It Be" was sung. Exodus 17:1-7 was heard as well as Matthew 16:13-20 and Psalm 25 repeated. St. Patrick's extends sympathy By Hazel Davis SAINTSBURY CORRESPONDENT SAINTSBURY — Our sin- cere sympathy goes out to the family of the late Adam Dow who passed away Sun., Aug. 14. The memorial funeral service was held from C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home in Lucan Thurs., Aug. 18. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Kelly and baby boys and all the families from all of us here at St. Patrick's.
