Closing for the season
EXETER — The Goderich
Human Resource Centre of
Canada for Students (HRCC-S)
will close for the season Aug. 26.
The HRCC-S has enjoyed more
than 35 summers of success of
helping students and businesses
with their employment needs.
This summer the Exeter and
Goderich HRCC-Ss combined
have helped more than 150
employers with their summer
employment needs, worked one-
on-one with over 100 students
and posted over 450 student job vacancies.
Summer jobs help students develop their skills
and get valuable work experience, which helps
prepare them for the rapidly changing world of
work. There is an ever-increasing demand for a
skilled and adaptable workforce, and the skills,
talents, knowledge and creativity of our young
people are key to our future success.
The Exeter and Goderich HRCC-Ss look forward
to working with the community to support student
employment again next summer.
If you have any questions, or would like to post a
student job, contact the Goderich HRCC-S at (519)
524-8342, ext. 232 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until
Aug. 26. After this date, employers may post stu-
dent jobs themselves by visiting the Job Bank
Website at jobbank.gc.ca or by calling 1-866-789-
1297.
The HRCC-Ss are part of the Government of
Canada's Youth Employment Strategy. For infor-
mation on the Youth Employment Strategy and
other Government of Canada summer and work
experience programs, call the toll-free Youth Info
