By Carmel Sweeney
ZURICH CORRESPONDENT
ZURICH — A good
time was had by all who
attended the Zurich Fair
last weekend.
The weather was great
for the outdoor activities
such as the horse
show's, parade and live-
stock.
The Friday night tal-
ent and magic show with
"Dickie Bird" had a good
audience. Lots of people
were out to dance and
hear Chris and The New
Boys. The Lions Club
Elimination Draw
$1,000 winner was Rick
Fisher of Zurich.
There were lots of
children's activities
going on all day
Saturday after the
parade at the complex.
There were 15 babies
entered in the baby
show. Thanks to my
helpers Deb Regier,
Martha Risi and the
Hensall Fair
Ambassador. Also the
business's in town who
gave donations for door
prizes.
The horse show sched-
uled for Sunday morning
was held in the after-
noon due to the rain.
The Fiddler's
Jamboree and ham sup-
per was enjoyed by peo-
ple from several places.
Special thanks to all
who helped in any way
to make this years fair a
great success. Especially
to President Paul Klopp

their long hours of work.

five daughters and
Jerome's mother Marie,
enjoyed seeing "Give My
Regards to Broadway"at
the Huron Country
Playhouse near Grand
Bend. It was a wonderful
show. One of our Zurich

was chosen out of the
audience to be on stage
with others to help the

with his performance.
Lori is such a good
sport. The lucky winner
of the 50/50 draw that
evening, worth $380

In this game there are
no opponents. Only friends.
In a non-competitive environment kids can truly enjoy
learning how to play soccer. After all, when you don't
keep score, everybody wins. That's why your local
Tim Hortons is proud to support Timbits Minor
Soccer in Exeter.
The first goal is having fun.
