Tire store theft in Exeter
EXETER — A door at Algoma Tire on Main Street was forced open during the night
of July 12. Someone entered the premises and removed a number of items from the
paint shop including Devlbeiss GT1 & JGA gravity feed and suction feed spray guns.
Police say $500 was also taken from the office area. The total value of the items
stolen is $1,700.
Easy. target for thieves
EXETER — Someone entered an unlocked vehicle, parked in laneway on Eastern
Ave., between June 28 -July 8. A Sony Data Projector and a Compaq laptop were
stolen from the vehicle. Both items were inside a leather carrying case. If you can
help police locate these items contact the OPP in Exeter or Crimestoppers at 1-800-
222-8477(TIPS).
Two counts of exposure charges
HURON PARK — An 18 -year-old male from South Huron has been charged with two
counts of exposure following an investigation that began May 26.
Young girls were playing in the backyard of a Huron Park residence when they
noticed a man nearby, cutting grass. The mother of the girls entered the backyard to
find the man exposing his genitals to the youngsters.
During the investigation police discovered another incident had occurred earlier in
the spring. A young man was inside a house when girls in the area had their attention
drawn to him and found he was exposing himself.
