POLICE BRIEF Break-ins and mischief ELIMVILLE —On July 9 police received two reports of break-ins in the Elimville Line area of South Huron. At one location, someone entered a diesel fuel tank. Police say the vehicle used by the perpetrators became stuck. Tracks suggest a tractor was first used to pull it out fol- lowed by a dump truck. Some damage was done while this was occurring. A seasonal trailer near a bush lot was also entered and a 12 -volt floodlight was stolen. A picnic table, chair and another table were damaged outside the trailer. Someone also used an extinguisher and emptied its con- tents on the ground. Huron OPP believe both break-ins and subsequent damage involved the same perpetra- tors.
