DO YOU HAVE A GRUB PROBLEM?
White grubs (European Chafer or June Beetle larvae), are small, white,
"C" shaped larvae that feed on grass roots. Deep brown patches of
grass and/or skunks and other small animals digging through your lawn
in spring or fall, may indicate you have a problem.
Late spring/early summer, beetles congregate in trees to mate and then
drop to the ground to lay their eggs. Mid summer these eggs hatch and
by fall they have begun to feed and cause damage to the roots of your
grass. If left untreated, these pests will over winter and continue feed-
ing next spring until they pupate. Damaged areas often fill in with
weeds and/or crabgrass.
A NEW highly effective grub control material is now available. It is
specifically designed to control grubs in the very early stages of their
life cycle, before damage can occur.
Call your Weed Man representative for more information on these dam-
aging pests and for the availability of this new grub control service.
