Keeping kids safe
A properly installed car seat is the only way to keep
your child safe when travelling. Statistically, a kid's car
seat can reduce the likelihood of injury by up to 75%.
Last Friday a free clinic, sponsored by Lambton
County Community Health Services and Bruce
Power, was offered in Grand Bend. Volunteer Stephen
Moore adjusts Emma Regier's carseat while her mom
Carol Ann looks on. (photo/Stephanie Mandziuk)

old, 5'4" tall with a pudgy
face. The teen was wear-
ing blue jeans, a blue T-
shirt and blue baseball
cap. The stolen bike is a

Lois Potter picked up the
telephone last Saturday
and was told to make her
way to the Shell station
on Exeter's Main Street
for a customer apprecia-

arrived she realized the
call was a ploy to get her
to the gas station for a
surprise. Staff members
honoured Lois for 25
years of service with a
sign flowers, balloons and
a cake. Lois is semi-
retired and still works
part-time as a station
attendant. At one time
Lois worked I 0 -hour
days. Now she's working
