first child, Colton Matthew.
Colton was born on Friday,
May 27th at 2:42 am at
Stratford General Hospital.
Excited grandparents are
Terry and Sharon Romphf
(Dashwood) and Ken and
Bette Moxham (Calgary). He
is another great-grandchild
for Ethel Masse (Dashwood)
and Olive and Norm Wilson
(Greenway). He will be
spoiled by his uncles and
aunts; Darryl, Jake, Paul, Liz,
Chris and Lisa. A big thank
you goes to Dr. Lam, Dr.
Hancock, Dr.Kalos and the
nursing staff who took care of

ANDERSON - Peacefully, at
Queensway Nursing Home,
Hensall, on June 17, 2005,
Helen Elizabeth (Rumball)
Anderson, of Hensall, former-
ly of Stanley Township, in
her 90th year. Predeceased
by her beloved husband John
(1987) and son-in-law Dan
(1993). Helen was a loving
mother to her children
Kathryn and Doug Mann of
Hensall, Keith and Ann
Anderson of London and
Debbie Anderson of King
City. She will always be in
the hearts of her grandchil-
dren Brad and Sue, Vicki and
Dave, Tim and Elaine, Aimee
and Eugene and Laura and
Phil. She will be missed by
her great-grandchildren Kyle,
Bryce, Mackenzie, Jacob,
Colin, Rachel and Bryan.
Dear sister-in-law of Doreen
Anderson. Helen is also
remembered by her nieces
and nephews. Predeceased
by two brothers and one sis-
ter. Helen was a determined
woman whose grace and
strength was an inspiration to
her family and those who
knew her. She never gave up
in spite of significant chal-
lenges. She greeted everyone
with her gentle smile and
never complained. For 9
years, she lived at Queensway
and during that time she
received exemplary and com-
passionate care. Helen loved
the staff that cared for her,
the volunteers who visited
her, her roommate Ida
Dickert and her fellow resi-
dents. The family will
always be grateful to
Queensway for ensuring that
Helen lived her life with dig-
nity. Visitation was held at
the Hensall Visitation Chapel
where the Funeral Service
was conducted on June 20,
2005. Rev. Marybeth Wilson
officiated. Interment Baird's
Cemetery. Memorial contri-

Beloved wife of the late Bob
Elgie (1991). Dear mother of
Margaret Elgie of London. Also
survived by nieces, nephews and
cousins. Predeceased by a sister
Alice Arthur and a brother Ray
Pfaff. Friends called at the
Hopper Hockey Funeral Home,
Exeter where the funeral service
was held on June 17, 2005. Rev.

FRASER - A Memorial Service
to Celebrate the Lives of W.
Allen Fraser and Vera Catherine
Fraser (nee Decker) will be con-
ducted on Saturday, June 25,
2005 at 11 am at the Pike Bay
United Church, Pike Bay,
Ontario. Allan Fraser, who died
in London, on March 9, 2005
and Vera Fraser, who died in
London, on April 13, 2005 were
married for 59 years. Both Allan
and Vera were dedicated and
proud members of many
Masonic organizations and sup-
ported freely many community
groups. Upon retirement they
moved to Pike Bay where they
collected and sold antique lights
and Canadian glassware in their
spare time. They will be missed
by sister-in-law and sister Alice
Thiel of Zurich, by their many
nieces and nephews and by their
friends of the church and com-
munity. Expressions of
Remembrance to Shriners
Hospitals for Children or to the
Pike Bay United Church.

MCINNIS: JOHN FEENEY
"JACK" - Peacefully, on
Thursday, June 9, 2005, a long-
time resident of Mt. Carmel,
passed away at Strathroy
Middlesex Hospital, at the age of
89. Survived by his wife, Edythe
Callaghan -McInnis. Left to
cherish his memory are his
daughter, Ann and her husband
Clive Tonge, Strathroy and son
Paul and his wife Shelley
McInnis of Mt. Carmel, brother
Lawrence J. McInnis, sisters-in-
law Margaret Callahan, Sarnia
and Beatrice Callahan,
Teeswater. He will be lovingly
remembered by numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by parents Joseph &
Margaret (Feeney) McInnis;
brothers, Joseph A. (1967) and
John Paul (1999); sisters,
Elizabeth (1923) and Jeanne
(1978). Jack was born August
19, 1915 in London, Ont. where
he grew up. After graduating De
La Salle High School, he worked
for The London Advertiser, Coca
Cola Ltd. and Quinn Lumber.
He & Edythe moved to Grand
Bend, they owned & operated
the Imperial Hotel for many
years, where he was known by
many as "Mr. Jack". During his
life, construction was important
to him, he moved, redesigned &
built many homes. For a few
years, he worked for the County
of Bosanquet as a building
inspector. Baseball was his life-
time passion. As a boy, he rode
the baggage care with his father
to see his beloved Detroit Tigers
play ball. As a young man he
hitchhiked from Lambeth to get
to the World Series, in Detroit. if
there was a game on the radio it
was playing in the car. In later
years he enjoyed horse racing.
For years he & Edythe would
pack up the car & go to
Louisville on the first weekend
of May to attend The Kentucky
Derby. Many will remember
him for his twinkling eyes &
broad smile when entertaining
friends and family or driving his
"68 Thunderbird; his endearing
laugh & a heart of gold. The
funeral was held from the T.
Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral
Home, Dashwood, on Monday,
June 13, 2005, followed by the
funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Roman Catholic Church,
Mt. Carmel. The Rev. Father
Michael Ryan Celebrant.
Interment Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers
were his nephews: John T. &
Michael McInnis, Dennis
McTaggart and Timothy, Steven
& Peter Callahan. If desired
memorial donations to the Heart
& Stroke Foundation or the
Alzheimer Society of Canada.

late Adeline Denomme would
