EXETER—"You'll fall
before you stand...how
you deal with failure sep-
arates winners from the
losers," was the message
at South Huron District

letes were honoured June
10 at the annual athletic
award assembly.
The guest speaker of
the assembly was former
student Pat Ducharme,
now a university level
basketball referee.
Highlights of the year
for SHDHS were the
Huron -Perth and WOS-
SAA championships in
field hockey team, and
the WOSSAA bronze
medal in junior boys vol-
leyball.
The boys curling team
were the Huron -Perth
champions, and the girls
curling team were the
Huron winners.
Other highlights includ-
ed the senior girls soccer
team capturing bronze at
WOSSAA and Sotiria
Kollias competing in
archery at OFSAA.
