Alyssa Becker (left) received an honourable mention and $100 for her project on multi- ple choice testing. AmandaWelsh (middle) and Rebecca Green were also recognized for their work on a mix- ture of latex paint and cement,typically used in repairing cracks in foundations. Welsh and Green received an honourable mention and $100. They also won the CSSE Junior Engineering Innovation Award and $1,000, as well as the Suncor Energy Foundation award for an outstanding project related to the environment with a cash prize on $500. (photo/Stephanie Mandziuk) Teens charged EXETER — An alert citi- zen notified police about a group of teenagers drinking alcohol in a vehicle. On May 25 an OPP officer approached a two -door black Honda in the parking lot of a fast food outlet off Main Street. The officer discovered open alcohol in the vehicle as well as mari- juana on one passenger. Four youths between the ages of 17 and 19 have been charged with liquor offences. An 18 -year-old man from Goderich is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
