Fun and Fitness start the
week at Queensway
HENSALL - Fun anf
Fitness started the week
for residents on Monday
morning as they worked
their way through the
exercise routine. One mild
day during the week
found the entire group
doing their workout on
the deck, basking in the
sunny morning and light
breeze. Monday afternoon
the Hensall United Church
women provided assis-
tance and prizes for resi-
dents at bingo.
Tuesday morning, vol-
unteer Edna Deitz assist-
ed at breakfast group,
offering coffee and con-
versation to the eight resi-
dents dining on pancakes,
sausage, syrup, melons,
juice, coffee and tea.
Pastor Fred Darke of
Hensall United Church led
worship Tuesday after-
noon with Belva Fuss as
volunteer pianist. Marg
Cole assisted residents.
Residents along with
family members and sev-
eral friends took part in a
wonderful outing to
Bayfield's Blue Harbour
Restaurant on Wednesday
planned by retirement
residence director,
Maxine Curry. The deli-
cious meal combined with
congenial company made
for a very successful trip.
Later in the afternoon
family council and Julie
Keagan held their month-
ly meeting.

Thursday evening
Diners had a special treat
when Bill Gibson and Les
Hills attended with their
guests from England.
Everyone had an interest-
ing evening learning
about England while
enjoying their meal.
Canada's gas prices all of
a sudden don't seem so
bad after hearing that
people in England pay
$2.30 a litre.
Massage with Lori Burt
RMT, Music Therapy with
Lisa, along with mani-
cures, current events and
games completed the
week.
