Choice steers and heifers sold 88 to 93, sales to 111, second cut steers and heifers sold 83 to 87. The cows sold at prices $2 to $3 higher. Thursday: The veal sold on a strong active trade at prices $2 to $5 higher. The lambs also sold actively with steady prices. Friday: All weights and classes of stockers on a strong active trade with prices steady to last week. Steers There were 441 steers on offer. Don Eedy and Mark Vanderploeg, Denfield sold 18 heifers average weight 1437, average price 95.56 with sales to 101 purchased by Norval Meats. Norm Hodgins, Parkhill sold 11 steers average weight 1442, average price 88.15 with sales to 94 purchased by Norwich Packers. Morley Hodgins, Parkhill sold 13 steers average weight 1441 average price 87.66. Glen and David Minielly, Wyoming sold five heifers average weight 1257 average price 87.65.
