Fish stock survey at Morrison Reservoir prices up $1 on good fed cattle
For the first time in 20 years the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is
conducting a Fisheries Assessment Survey. It started last week at the Morrison

and heifers sold on a strong
active trade with prices $1
higher. Choice steers and
heifers sold 88 to 93, sales
to 111, second cut steers
and heifers sold 83 to 87.
The cows sold at prices $2
to $3 higher.
Thursday: The veal sold
on a strong active trade at
prices $2 to $5 higher. The
lambs also sold actively with
steady prices.
Friday: All weights and
classes of stockers on a
strong active trade with
prices steady to last week.

There were 441 steers on
offer.
Bill Klages, Desboro con-
signed one limo steer
weighing 1415 lbs which
sold for 100.25. His overall
offering of 22 steers aver-
aged 1380 lbs selling for an
average price of 92.20.

Livestock Sales traded on a good
demand at prices $1 higher on the
good fed cattle with the fancy cattle
selling at premium prices. Cows sold
fully steady to stronger, sows and
boars steady.

weight 1437, average price 95.56 with
sales to 101 purchased by Norval
Meats.
Norm Hodgins, Parkhill sold 11
