(photos/Scott Nixon) Panther Profile EXETER — This week, on May 4, 5 and 6, something amazing will be happening! I am talking about this year's school show at South Huron DHS! It's called "Return to Eden 2048," and was written and directed by Ms. Burrell, the head of drama at South Huron. The cast is made up entirely of stu- dents, ranging from Grade 9 to 12, with many students having previous experi- ence in school shows and drama class. "Return to Eden 2048" includes a live band as well, playing such spectacular songs as "Flashdance" and "Jump, Jive and Wail." As an added bonus to the live band playing, the students in the show actually dance to the songs! That's right, students dance. For me, being a part of the show, dancing is a major step for me, seeing as I have no talent for that whatsoever. The show is set in the future, in Exeter in the years 2047 and 2048. In between these two years, something entirely strange goes on in Exeter, and suddenly everyone...oh, that was anticli- mactic. Something very odd does happen in Exeter, but to find out, come see "Return to Eden 2048." Tickets are $6 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. May 4, 5 and 6. Now let's see what the rest of the school will be doing... Wed.. May 4 • "Return to Eden 2048," 7:30 p.m., small gym Thurs.. May 5 • Boys soccer to St. Marys, bus leaves at 10:20 a.m. • "Return to Eden 2048," 7:30 p.m., small gym Fri., May 6 • Sr. boys soccer tournament at South Huron, all day • "Return to Eden 2048," 7:30 p.m., small gym Mon, May 9 • Girls soccer to Goderich Tues.
