Justin Knee, Adam
Hayter, Justin Cann and
Larry Northover played
well according to
O'Rourke.
The junior boys also lost
by the score of 12-0.
They played well but
couldn't push across a
score with Dave Reschke
and Brett Hackett playing
strong games.
The senior girls won
their game 15-0 on tries
by Tristen Caldwell, Julie
Prout and Ashley Rogers
with all three playing well.
Holly Puchniack, Beth
Shantz, Ann Gregus and
Tanya Stuckless also
played well in a good team
effort by everyone and it
was a good day of rugby
said O'Rourke.
The junior boys were in
Stratford for the Miller
Cup Monday with the
team losing their first
game to a good Central
Huron team 17-0.
South Huron was small-
er and not as quick said
O'Rourke.
The Panthers came up
short in their second game
against Mitchell on penal-
ty kicks after being tied 5-
5 in regulation time.
Tim Bilcke scored a try
before South Huron
allowed a try with one
minute left but O'Rourke
said the team played well
as a whole.
The Panthers recovered
to win their third game of
the day 10-0 over St.
Annes with Bilcke scoring
both of the tries and the
team played well overall.
It was a good day of
rugby according to
O'Rourke considering the
cold wet conditions.
Playing well besides
Bilcke were Devon
Bedard, Matt Lovie, Derek
Spence, Shawn Morgan,
Chad Hackett and Brent
Regier.
Well done from
O'Rourke to all the team
on a good effort.
The senior boys and the
girls were in Stratford for
the Miller Cup Tuesday.
