Plan H7-3-917 Modern FarmhouseThe placement of the garage makes this home suitable for a large, wider building lot. With the garage situated at the
back of the property, all eyes are home itself. As a bonus, the garage becomes a drive-through, allowing access to the backyard for storing a recreational
vehicle or a boat An old-fashioned covered veranda completely surrounds the front and part of both sides of the home, giving the exterior a farmhouse
look. A winding path from the driveway leads to the front door which opens to a traditional foyer and formal parlor. A two-way fireplace in the parlor is
shared by the dining room which also has access to the veranda. A staircase in the front hall leads to the bedrooms on the second floor and to an
unfinished basement below. A guest bedroom or study is situated behind the staircase, and also has a door to the veranda. Just across the hall is the
main floor powder room. A country kitchen and great room faces the back yard. From the breakfast nook, a door opens to a covered deck with steps to
the garden beyond. An angled work island in the kitchen can also be used as an eating bar. A traditional fireplace in the great room adds warmth and
cheer throughout this open area. A sliding door off the kitchen reveals the laundry room with a large pantry and a coat closet. One door from the laundry
leads the home's covered side entrance. Another opens into the garage. Upstairs, the master
bedroom features a four -piece ensuite with a pocket door to the toilet and a large linen closet. The
two children's bedrooms share a third bathroom. This home measures 64 feet wide by 62 feet, 6
inches deep and has a total of 2,234 square feet of finished living space, Plans for design H7-3-
917 are available for $606 (set of 5), $691(set of 8) and $745 for a super set of 10. B.C, residents
