Don't miss Networking dinner. Apr.14
HOLMESVILLE — The
popular Huron Women in
Networking (HWIN) din-
ner is back again, sched-
uled for Thurs., April 14.
The two previous efforts in
2004 brought close to 100
women together and they
reported amazing
evenings - informative and
entertaining.
The dinner is geared to
women of all ages, not
solely businesswomen, but
reportedly several busi-
ness deals have been initi-
ated following these
evenings.
Once again, the dinner
will be hosted by the
Huron Small Business
Enterprise Centre and
held at the White
Carnation banquet hall in
Holmesville with social
time at 6 p.m. and dinner
at 6:30 p.m. There will be
a panel presentation from
local women entrepre-
neurs rather than a guest
speaker. Each panelist will
be given (in advance) a
series of questions and will
come prepared with a
one -minute answer based
on their personal business
experience.
During dinner those
donating door prizes and
those winning them will
each have an opportunity
to give a one -minute
advertisement of their
business/career. At the
end of the evening, the
grand prize will be won by
a contest challenging
memory of those business-
es.
The grand prize has
once again been donated
by Kathy Nichol, executive
director of the Innkeepers
of Ontario. The prize fea-
tures a one-night stay for
two at one of Ontario's
finest inns: the Waterloo
Inn.
At $25 per person, this is
a networking opportunity
no one can afford to miss.
Bring along business cards
and brochures and don't
forget, donated door
prizes are appreciated.
Pre -registration is
required by April 8 to con-
firm dinner numbers. To
register or for more infor-
mation, call Alison Lobb,
business consultant, or
Lisa Harper, administra-
tive assistant at the Huron
Business Enterprise
Centre 527-0305.
