Staff at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre were called into action in the
second period of Saturday night's Lucan-Ilderton Jets game when a stiff body
check shattered a pane of glass.The game was delayed for several minutes.Above
from left, Jets players Steve Matthews and Mike Vandeven, along with a staffer from
the Goderich Pirates help clean up the glass. Below, Lucan arena staffers Dave
Hinge and Joan Morley temporarily replace the glass. Looking on is Jets trainer
Glenn Silver.The Jets went on to eliminate the Pirates in a 10-1 drubbing.
