Huron -Perth tournament
at Madill Feb. 24.
Strano said the
Panthers played a strong
first period but didn't for
the next two.
The Panthers took a 2-0
lead in the first on goals
from Michele Weber and
Stewart but Madill got
back in the game in the
second tying it up.
Strano said the
Panthers couldn't get
back together as a team
and Madill fired three
more goals in the third
period for a 5-2 win.
Meaghan Ellison,
Stewart, Sararas, and
Anne Gregus picked up
assists in the win, and
Strano said Sararas hus-
tled and played well from
start to finish.
The Panthers will take
on St. Mike's Thursday at
9:45 a.m. with the bronze
medal game at 12:30
p.m. and the gold medal
game at 2 p.m.

HENSALL - The
Hensall Sherwoods will
take on the Clinton
Radars in the quarter
finals of the Senior 'AA'
playoffs with game one
tonight (Wednesday) in
Hensall at 8:30 p.m.
Game two will be in
Clinton Friday night at
8:30 p.m. with game three
in Hensall Feb. 26 at 7:30
p.m.
Hensall coach Jason
McBride said with the
teams' so evenly matched,
the series would probably
go seven games.
"It could be a bounce
here or there, and it could
be anything along that
line. Hopefully it doesn't
come down to that but
that's hockey and that's
the way the puck bounces
sometimes."
