for the 2005 Children Summer Playground Program
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
1. Background in recreation or Early Childhood education or working
towards the same;
2. Valid first aid certificate;
3. Excellent organizational, staff motivational and program record
keeping skills;
4. Criminal background checks from a local O.P.P. detachment;
5. Must supply own transportation. Daily travel between sites
required.
Rate of Pay: $10/hr. plus $0.35 km mileage for travel between sites.
Official Start Date: June 20th. Official Finish Date: August 19th.
(Occasional work before start date). Work Week: 35-40 hrs. Monday -
Friday, plus - 3 separate evening registrations.

containers utilizing Toronto as the primary hub. Hours

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN
Join the youth justice services division to perform skilled electrical duties for
the Bluewater Youth Centre. You will: renovate, alter, repair, install and carry
out routine maintenance of all electrical equipment/appliances; repair and
maintain tools and equipment, ensuring security; assist other maintenance staff;
instruct and supervise resident helpers. Location: Highway 21 S., Goderich.

Qualifications: completion of recognized apprenticeship in electrical trade;
certification by Ontario government; proven experience as skilled electrician;
working knowledge of tools, equipment, methods, proper and safe practices of
the electrical trade; knowledge of laws, bylaws, regulations governing electrical
installations; ability to coordinate tasks/work with other trades, and instruct/
supervise resident helpers.
Salary range: $21.78 - $22.96 per hour
SUPERINTENDENT'S
SECRETARY
The youth justice services requires a skilled individual to provide administrative/
secretarial/clerical services to the superintendent and deputy superintendents of
the Bluewater Youth Centre, a provincial youth justice facility located just south of
Goderich, on the shores of Lake Huron. Responsibilities include: word processing a
variety of confidential material, including reports, letters, memoranda; maintaining
administrative files; updating manuals as required; coordinating meeting schedules;
providing other support and administrative services. Location: Goderich.

Qualifications: demonstrated progressively responsible secretarial experience;
solid working knowledge of/experience with personal computers, related software,
including word processing; excellent communication/interpersonal skills to work
with ministry/local staff, other stakeholders, members of the public; experience/
ability in managing various concurrent administrative functions with initiative and
discretion; ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Salary range: $19.27 - $21.72 per hour
