The Administrative Assistant position is a 3 year full-time
contract reporting to the Source Water Protection Project
Manager. The overall responsibility will be to assist the
Ausable Bayfield and Maitland Valley Conservation
Authorities in achieving the objectives as set out in the
Source Water Protection Legislation, Guidelines and
Policies. Key duties will be to provide frontline customer
service to all clientele for efficient operation of the Source
Water Protection Project; attend all meetings of the Source
Water Protection Management Committee, Advisory
Committeesand Sub -Committees in the capacity of official
Recording Secretary; process incoming and outgoing
correspondence; maintain an electronic document
management system; and provide administrative support
for all members of the Source Water Protection Team.
Required qualifications:
• Diploma from an accredited college and 1 year
experience or 3 years experience in office administration
• Excellent working knowledge of business and technical
English, spelling and grammar
• Experienceand ability to take and produce clear concise
records/minutes of committee meetings
• Excel lent working knowledge of Corel WordPerfect Suite
9, Microsoft Office and electronic filing systems
• Experience working in team environments with
professional staff, volunteers, community groups and
variety of partners.
Remuneration: $26,000-$31,200 annually, based on a 35
hour week with occasional evening and weekend

Qualifications: completion of recognized apprenticeship in electrical trade;
certification by Ontario government; proven experience as skilled electrician;

secretarial/clerical services to the superintendent and deputy superintendents of
the Bluewater Youth Centre, a provincial youth justice facility located just south of
Goderich, on the shores of Lake Huron. Responsibilities include: word processing a
variety of confidential material, including reports, letters, memoranda; maintaining
administrative files; updating manuals as required; coordinating meeting schedules;
providing other support and administrative services. Location: Goderich.

Qualifications: demonstrated progressively responsible secretarial experience;
solid working knowledge of/experience with personal computers, related software,
including word processing; excellent communication/interpersonal skills to work
with ministry/local staff, other stakeholders, members of the public; experience/

discretion; ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Salary range: $19.27 - $21.72 per hour
