(photo/Pat Bolen) ABCA Conservation Dinner EXETER - Tickets are now in circulation for the most anticipated social event of the year, the 16th annual Conservation Dinner April 14 at the South Huron Rec Centre in Exeter. Patrons will enjoy a superb meal and a jam- packed evening of auc- tion bids on fine art- work and collectibles along with a vast array of raffle prizes. Most importantly, participants play a vital role in supporting wor- thy conservation -relat- ed projects. The dinner is a col- laboration of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation and the Exeter Lions Club, the Conservation Dinner. It raises funds for development of barrier - free trails, outdoor education programs and many other activi- ties for the benefit of local residents and visi- tors to the watershed. The proceeds from the 2005 Dinner will continue to assist in the stocking of rainbow trout in the Morrison Dam reservoir, sup- porting conservation education programs, maintaining six com- memorative woods sites and the MacNaughton Morrison Trail project. For those interested in buying tickets, call the ABCA at 235-2610. Tickets for the Conservation Dinner usually sell out early, so purchasers are encouraged to call soon. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, Lucan and reception at Lucan United Church. Sympathy from the community goes out to her family. On Friday, Hugh Davis visited the Hopper -Hockey Funeral Home in Exeter to pay respects to the family of the late Stanley Frayne. Again sympathy from the community goes out to his family.
