Tri Star Tae Kwon Do held a testing recently with from left Master Sai Visouvath,
Katey Potter,Warren Elder, Mac Potter and Chris Webber advancing. Katey and
Elder earned their first degree (dan) black belt and received their Kukkiwon certi-
fication from Korea while Mac Potter and Webber earned their second degree
(dan) black belt. All Tri Star students and their families congratulate Master Sai
Visouvath on recently earning his 5th degree (dan) black belt which is quite an
achievement. Congratulations to all Tri Star students that participated in the black
belt testing. Tri Star Tae Kwon Do operates two locations in Lambeth and Exeter.

Two youths
caught in
theft
SOUTH HURON — On
Dec. 8, officers from the
Exeter detachment
received a cell phone call
from a citizen over the
theft of a canoe in
progress. The cell phone
call was made by the
canoe's owner. The offi-
cers drove to a site on
Dashwood Road west of
Exeter where the victim
had left his canoe lying
near the Ausable River at
the rear of his property.
Two youths had taken
the canoe down the river
with no paddles or life
jackets. The river was
high and was running
swiftly with much under
current. The two youths
capsized the blue 16'
