Minor Midgets win Forest 'A' championship

Midgets were the 'A'
champions in Forest over
the Christmas holidays.
South Huron beat Forest
7-5 in the opener with a
hat trick from Adam
Jackson.
Jared Anstett added a
pair with Nick Jeffrey and
David Reschke getting sin-
gles.
Picking up assists were
Reschke with three,
Anstett with two and sin-
gles from Scott Varley,
Ryan Masse, Jeffrey and
Potter.
South Huron won its sec-
ond game with a 6-0 win
over Listowel with Mac

In the semifinals against
West Lorne, South Huron
came away with a 2-1 win
on goals from Anstett and
Jackson, with assists from
Reschke, Varley and Zack
Lenssen.
The finals were against
Listowel, which was
tougher than the first
game but ended with a 2-1
win for South Huron.
Anstett and Jamie Hodge

Jeffrey and Justin
Buchanan.
Potter supplied great
goaltending through the
series.

The South Huron Minor Midget team were the "A" winners at the Forest Minor Midget tournament Dec 28-30.The
team went undefeated through the tournament defeating Forest 7-5 and Listowel 6-0 on a shutout from Mac Potter.
They then beat West Lorne 2-1 and Listowel 2-1 in the final. Back L -R: Jamie Hodge, Justin Buchanan, Mac Christie,
