Drew was bom at 10:25 am, January 2, 2005, and was the New Year's Baby at Stratford General Hospital. Drew weighed 8 lbs and 12 ozs and was 21 inches long. Spoiling privileges go to grandparents Louise and Brian Miller of Clinton, Larry and Linda Gibbings of London and Doug and Darlene Geoffrey of Exeter. Proud great-grandpar- ents are Janet Hunking, Harold Gibbings, Reg and Florence Miller of Clinton, and Jean Geoffrey of Zurich. Excited aunts and uncles are Cindy, Danny, David, Greg and Michelle. Watching over from heaven are Joe Huking, Lois Gibbings, Ted Geoffrey, Marion and Lorne Porter. Dear father of Brad Sangster of Hensall, Pat and Ralph Holland of Clinton. Loving grandpa of Gwen and Bruce Robertson of Cambellford, Michael and Wendy Holland of Montreal. Dear brother of Marion Peebles of London, John Sangster of Forest, brother-in- law of Janeth Sangster and Leonard Noakes, both of Hensall. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their fami- lies. Predeceased by his sisters Minnie Noakes, Laura Stan, Jean Sangster in infancy, brothers Dave Sangster, George "Dode" Sangster and Ivor Sangster. Condolences a t www.hoffmanfuneralhome.com (2) 102 Deaths SOMERVILLE, CORA - Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, January 8, 2005 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Archie Somerville (1997). Dear mother of Joan (Ken) Campbell of Seaforth, LoisAnn (Maurice) Wathke of Kitchener, Jane (Jack) Harvey of Exeter, and Linda (Eric) Ross of London. Lovingly remembered by her grandchil- dren Kevin (Susan) Campbell, Kim (Adrian) Van Den Hoven, Brad (Brenda) Campbell, Pam (Tim) Cant, Leanne (Bob) La Pierre, Cheryl (Erich) Freiter, David and Matthew Ross. Also loved by great-grand- children Sarah and Alanah Campbell, Robert and Jacob Campbell, Hayden and Avery Cant, Victoria, Brianna and Alexis La Pierre, and Byron and Katelyn Freiter. Cora will be missed by sisters-in- law Mabel Strong, Grace Smith and Anna McNichol as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents Bill and Jane Strong (nee' Shouldice), Cora was prede- ceased by her sister Anne Allen and by brother Leonard Strong and also be several sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law. Cora was born on December 25, 1909 in Egmondville and later moved with her family to the farm homestead in Tuckersmith Township. After graduating from Seaforth District High School, she attended Stratford Normal School and McDonald Instute in Guelph. She taught for five years in McKillop Township at Leadbury School (SS#7). On June 6, 1936 she married Archie Somerville, after mar- riage, Cora dedicated her life to providing a loving home for her husband and four daughters on the family farm in McKillop. She derived joy and contentment in her various domestic pursuits of cooking, gardening, sewing, decorating, and nurturing her family. For many years she taught Sunday School at Caven United Church, Winthrop and also served as treasurer of the United Church Women there. In 1984, Cora and Archie retired and moved to their home in Seaforth. The fami- ly received friends and rela- tives at Northside United Church, Seaforth where the funeral service was held on January 11, 2005. Bruce Whitmore and Reverend John Gould officiated. Spring interment at Maitland Bank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimers Society or to a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Beloved wife of the late Pastor Ted Butler (2003). Loving mother of Teresa, Marvin (Wendy), Brian (Mary Anne), Greg (Lori), Kevin (Tracy). Cherished grandmother to Yvonne (Derek), Bridget (Walter), Marvin Jr. (Carolyn), Brian Jr., Sam, Rosie, Leah and Hopelyn. Cherished great- grandmother to Austen and Ethan. Dear sister of Rose (Ferd) Ortiz, Florence Charette, Bemice (Walter) Elliott. Born in Lucan, Ontario, Marie retired after 25 years working at Canada Customs. She was an active member of the Catholic Women's League. The family received friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, London.
