THE WORD COMFORT BRINGS A VARIETY OF FOODS TO
MIND, ALSO A WONDERFUL ARRAY OF FOND MEMORIES OF
DAYS GONE BY AND MEALS WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE
FOLLOWING CASSEROLE COMES FROM MY MOTHER'S
KITCHEN (NORIENE CHESTER) AND IT WAS OFTEN MADE
FOR SUNDAY LUNCH WHERE SHE ENTERTAINED ANY NUMBER
OF PEOPLE UNEXPECTEDLY. SHE TAUGHT ME WHAT A
GRACIOUS HOSTESS IS AND TO THIS DAY SHE STILL TRIES TO
PLEASE EVERY GUEST WITH GOOD MEALS AND TREATS. THE
CASSEROLE IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND THAT IN ITSELF IS A
COMFORT TO OUR BUSY LIFESTYLES!
HARVEST HAMBURG CASSEROLE
1 Ib. lean ground beef
2 large onions chopped fine
2 1/2 cups of diced tomatoes
1 tbsp.Worcestershire
1 tsp salt
2 cups sliced raw potatoes
1/3 cup flour
1 can kernel corn drained
1 slivered green pepper
1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 375. Combine meat, onion, tomatoes,
Worcestershire, salt. Put into a casserole dish covering the
bottom. On top place in layers potatoes, flour, corn and green
pepper. Bake covered 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Great tasting and just so easy.
Enjoy!!
Municipality of Bluewater
STRATEGIC PLAN
CALL FOR COMMUNITY BRIEFS
The Municipality of Bluewater is launching a
strategic planning initiative to assist Council in
identifying key strategic priorities and initiatives
over the next three to five years. This is an
important planning process to assist your
municipality in charting the future.
One of the consultation processes for the
project is the opportunity for community organi-
zations and individual residents to provide input
through e-mails or in writing to our Consultant
who is facilitating the strategic planning
process. Everyone is encouraged to provide
input and to assist us in this regard. Three
questions are being put forward for your consid-
eration:
What are the key strengths and assets that
Bluewater has to build on for the future?
What are the key concerns, challenges
and issues that the community will need to
address in the next three to five years?
What do you believe are the community's
strategic priorities over the next three to five
years?
Please send your briefs by Friday, January 28,

someone entered a shed on the property through a win-
dow. Once inside the shed a bigger door was opened
and a 10.5 HP grey older model Craftsman snow blow-
er was stolen.
