Blessings Community Store of Zurich got a nice boost for its food bank Monday morn -
ng in the form of a donation of $1,190.63 and food from the Bank of Montreal branch-
es in Hensall and Grand Bend. Every October, Bank of Montreal branches hold a
Thanksgiving food drive through its Fountain of Hope program. The Hensall branch
raised money by having hot dog and pop sales, as well as having branch manager Karen
Dickins on the receiving end of some thrown cream pies. In Grand Bend, the branch
had a donation jar and Sobeys matched the food raised. The Grand Bend branch also
donated 22 boxes of food (worth about $1,188) and $292.50 in cash to the Lambton
Food Bank. From left are Grand Bend BMO branch manager Charlene Oesch, Blessings
manager Norma Grainger and Hensall BMO branch manager Dickins. Grainger
expressed her thanks to the banks, who in turn thanked
their customers and staff for raising the money.

PLAN H7-3-836 Flexible Bonus Room A width of less than 38 feet makes this two-storey plan ideally suited to a narrow lot. Design highlights include
the use of brick and corner build -outs on the exterior and a bonus room over the garage that would make a great children's play room.
Inside the raised entrance, an attractive curved staircase off the foyer offers a full view of all the formal living areas. A vaulted ceiling and a gas fireplace
enhance the rectangular living/dining room. The family area at the rear of the house encompasses a spacious gourmet kitchen with a central island with
a cook top, a separate wall oven, a pantry and a phone desk. The kitchen is open to a bayed breakfast nook and to the family room, which has a gas
fireplace on the exterior wall. A door leads to a large sundeck with stairs down to the backyard. The master suite is privately situated on the main floor,
while the two additional bedrooms are upstairs. A luxurious ensuite includes a soaker tub, a separate shower and a double vanity. His and hers closets
provide ample clothes space. A central powder room and laundry with additional storage complete the main floor. Upstairs, the library has a railing
overlooking the living areas below, making this a pleasant spot to sit and read while still being in contact with activities below. The two secondary
bedrooms share a four -piece bathroom with a linen closet. The large walk-in closet in the second bedroom is perfect for all the storage that children
require and could even be transformed into a play hideaway. A fourth bedroom could be created in the bonus room by adding a clothes closet or a
freestanding wardrobe. This home has 2,211 square feet of finished living space and measures 37 feet, 8 inches wide and 58 feet, 6 inches deep.
Plans for design H7-3-836 are available for $606 (set of 5), $691(set of 8) and $745 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7 % Prov. Sales Tax. Also
add $20.00 for Priority charge within B.C. or $40.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and
Priority charges. The 36th Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling).
