The True
Meaning of
Christmas
Beth 011ey Age 10

Even though we all think
that the true meaning of
Christmas is getting, get-
ting and well, more get-
ting, its not the true mean-
ing of Christmas. There is
more to Christmas then
just presents. The real
meaning of Christmas is
giving presents to family
and friends and helping
families in need. It is also
for being grateful for what
we already have.
Another great thing about
Christmas is anticipation!
All those countdown,
advent calendars and
waking up every morning
and knowing its one day
closer to the big day! Well,
that is what Christmas
means to me!

Dear Santa,
Hi, my name is Curtis. I
am 4 years old. I have
been good all year. This
year I would like to get a
skateboard and a saddle
for my horse at home and
some reins for the horse.
I would also like some
cowboy clothes. I think I
deserve these things
because I cleaned my
room when my mommy
told me. I also milked the
cows. I want a motorcy-
cle toy, I also want a bat-
tery powered dirt bike, I
want some dinky cars. I
would like a Spiderman
action figure. I helped by
cleaning the cow. I would
like something for the
family. I would like a
milking machine. I hope
you will have time to read
this.

LETTERS TO
SANTA
Dear Santa,
This is my first Christmas
and I am really excited. I
would like some new toys
but my parents think I
need some new clothes
because I'm growing so
fast. I'll settle for some of
both as I have been a very
good girl so far. Have a safe trip, hope you like the
milk and cookies.
