Several area schools
helped those in need
this season by donating
toys, food and clothing
to the Huron County
Christmas Bureau.
Among those schools
was Stephen Central,
which sent its donations
to the Bureau last week.

White is very heavy snow,
mistletoe berries and
wonderful white
Christmas lights.
White is the taste of light
icing, shortbread cookies
and white chocolate of
Santa.
White is the smell of white
shortbread cookie can-
dles.
White is a school ground-
coerving in glittering
snow.

How are you doing? Will I
be seeing Rudolph's nose
out my window this
Christmas? Hope I've
been nice enough! I loved
the presents from last
year. I've been doing well
in school. Are any elves
with you now? If so read
this to them please. Did
you like last year's cookies
and milk? Because you
did not eat them all! I
don't mean to be outra-
geous but this year I'd like
to see a handwritten let-
ter. The past year's letter
were okay but I like a
handwritten letter so I can
prove to my cousin you're
real. Are you coming to
the Co-op this year? If you
are I'd love a long chat
with you. I'll leave some
milk or cookies under the
fireplace. Your best friend,

We'd like to take this opportunity to wish
you and your families a most joyous and
happy festive season. Christmas is a great
time for celebration and giving. It's also a
good time to look back on the year and
reflect on all the positive things that
happened in our lives. Friends, family,
and new acquaintances is what makes us
who we are. So have a safe holiday and
all the best in the New Year

LETTERS TO SANTA
Dear Santa,
My name is Alex
Plantenga and my grandma
is writing my letter to you
cause I am too small to
print yet. For Christmas
this year I would really like
to have a Thomas the Train
Set. Oh ya, don't forget to
leave my dad a toy too, as
he loves to play with my toys and me. My mom
could use something relaxing, for putting up with
dad and I, although I know she loves us bunches. I
will leave some cookies and milk out for you. Best
Wishes and Merry Christmas Santa. Love,
Alex Plantenga
