Just in time for Christmas, winter seems to have fully arrived, com- plete with very cold weather and lots of snow. As you travel during the holiday season, keep safety in mind. On Dec. 12, the children of the Sunday School at Centralia United Church presented a delight- ful performance entitled `Michael Mouse'. Their story told the tale of a little mouse who visited the stable when Jesus was born and found his own special way to give the best gift to the baby. On Dec. 19, Clare Wright and Rob Essery helped clear the snow so that everyone could enter and take part in worship. Mikayla and Mikenzie Skinner lit four of the candles on the advent wreath and told about their significance. Judy Mills and Marjorie Johns provided a lovely time of music with their playing on the piano and the organ. They joined in playing A Candle Is Burning, and 0 Come, All Ye Faithful. Larry Skinner read the Minute for Mission about the UCW and their out- standing contribution to the church and to outreach. Scripture readings were from Luke 1:68-79 and Luke 1:46-56, read by Mikayla Skinner. Rev. Ray's sermon: What If He Had Not Come?
