Brydges Wednesday night in Lucan before rebounding for a 4- 2 win Nov. 28 in Lambeth. Lucan sits two points back of the Exeter Hawks for first in the division with a 13-5-0-0 record for 26 points, with Lucan having two games in hand. Lucan got their lone goal against the Bulldogs from Tyler French, with assists from Andrew Lang and Mark Read. The Irish were tied going 1-1 going into the third, but four straight goals by the Bulldogs put the game away for the visitors. The Irish have a pair of games this week, with North Middlesex visiting tonight (Wednesday) at 7:45 p.m. before Lucan visits West Lorne Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. Charlie Moir breaks out for the Lucan Irish against the Bulldogs. After a tight first two periods with South Huron getting the lone goal from Nick Anstett, the Panthers broke the game open in the third with four goals in two minutes to take a 5-0 lead. Scoring for the Panthers were James Marsden, Jordan Darling, Jordan Skinner and Scott Muirhead before St. Annes broke the shutout of South Huron goalie Sean Ellison with 1:06 left. The Panthers had a tighter game in the afternoon with Kent Nicholson getting the only goal of the first period. Central Huron tied it early in the second peri- od but the Panthers fired two more late in the period from Andy Sedlak and Greg Thompson wrapped around a CHSS goal for a 3-2 Panther lead after two periods. Darling gave South Huron a two -goal mar- gin in the first minute of the third period. Central Huron cut the lead back to one just over a minute late but Darling restored the lead with an insurance goal just 20 seconds later. SHMHA Silver Stick tournament EXETER - The second annual South Huron Silver Stick tournament will be running again this Dec. 3, 4and5. The tournament has expanded from eight teams in each division last year to 16 teams in each division this year. It will run in Stephen and the South Huron Rec Centre all day Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday with the two final games in Exeter Sunday. To say thank you orga- nizers have dedicated this year's program to the sponsors who continue to support SHMHA. The sweater sponsors, ice time sponsors, prize sponsors and those who contribute to the operating expenses of the organiza- tion.
