PLAN H2-3-713 Growing Family Home Craftsman style detailing and decorative stone trim add instant appeal to the exterior of this updated two-level
design. Inside, a practical floor plan makes this a good home for the young, growing family. From the sheltered porch entry, a single front door opens to a
well -lit foyer with a den, or home office, to one side. The den has a full-size window and double glass -paned doors for added light. The laundry room is
also located on the home's lower floor, across the hall from the staircase leading to the main living areas. The entire back half of the ground floor is
unfinished. This space has roughed in plumbing for a three-piece bathroom and access through sliding glass doors to a covered back yard patio.
Upstairs, a contemporary kitchen features a raised eating bar, corner sinks and a door that opens to a partly covered sundeck. The adjoining great room
has a dining area with glass doors that open to a covered deck over the garage and a feature wall with a gas fireplace. Space on either side of the
fireplace could be used for bookshelves or an entertainment unit. A large window in the great room has an extra -wide sill, prefect for growing plants.
The master bedroom is at the back of the house and has a walk-in closet and a three-piece ensuite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms share the
home's second bathroom, which has a boxed out wall for the bathtub. A double garage is recessed into the main level of the home and has a side door
that leads directly into the foyer. This plan has 1,345 square feet of finished living space and measures 38 feet wide by 49 feet, 4 inches deep.
Plans for design H2-3-713 are available for $436 (set of 5), $502 (set of 8) and $544 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7 Prov. Sales Tax. Also add
$20.00 for Priority courier charges within B.C. or $40.00 outside of B.C. Please add 7% G.S.T. or 15% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price
and postage charges. The new 36th Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $13.50 (includes taxes, postage and
handling). Make all cheques and money orders payable to "Home Plan of the Week" and mail to: HOME PLAN OF THE WEEK c/o Exeter Times Advocate,
