Marilyn Carter was in charge of the reign of Christ Sunday church ser- vice. The introit was sung and people shook hands. Rev. Carter gave greet- ings and the announce- ments and led in the call to worship, prayer of approach and the affir- mation of faith in unison. Raymond McKnight lit the Christ Candle. Rev. Carter told the THAMES youth a story about `Buddy' and `Remember Jesus'. The choir sang Praise the Lord accompanied by pianist Marilyn Vandenbussche. The responsive reading was the Song of Zechariah. Rev. Carter read Colossians 1:11-20, and Luke 23:33-43 and the title of her sermon was `Reign of Christ'. John and Brenda Miner received the offering and were the greeters. Everyone read the com- missioning and Rev. Carter pronounced the benediction. Everyone sang May the God of Hope Go With Us. There were around 75 people for sup- per. The silent auction was very successful. The C.E. Committee looked after the swimming and the Finance Committee looked after the supper. Sometime through the night a green 1995 Ford Escort was forced open and five CDs with school programs and games were stolen along with a garage opener, Thinsulate black leather gloves and a black Hardtops coat.
