POLICE BRIEFS
BAYFIELD — Huron
OPP recently received
several reports of vehi-
cles being entered in
the Village of Bayfield.
On Nov. 13 at 10:15
a.m. a person who left
his vehicle unlocked on
Main Street discovered
the red 1994 Chrysler
was entered during the
night and a Koss
portable Diskman CD
player was stolen.
Later that day at 6:15
p.m. another unlocked
vehicle was entered on
Victoria Street. This
time, a beige 2003
Pontiac Montana was
entered and $1,000
worth of camera equip-
ment was stolen. A
Canon X700 35 mm
camera in a bag camera
bag along with an
extreme flash and 70
mm lens were stolen.
Officers also dealt
with several other vehi-
cles that were ran-
sacked. Small amounts
of coin and some
Canadian Tire money
was stolen.
