Officers went to the residence a short time later and took a 36 -year-old male into custody. He has been charged with assault. cooking with memories BY DEBBY WAGLER WHEN I HAD OUR FIFTH CHILD WITHIN 7 YEARS I WAS PRETTY TIRED! ONE OF MY FONDEST MEMORIES OF THAT TIME WAS WHEN LADIES FROM OUR LOCAL CHURCH BROUGHT IN A VARIETY OF MEALS TO HELP ME OUT. THIS PARTICULAR RECIPE CAME FROM ONE OF THE WOMEN WHO BROUGHT IN SOME GREAT FOOD. I ALREADY SHARED HER CHEESY BISCUITS MONTHS AGO, BUT THIS CASSEROLE HAD BECOME A GOOD KITCHEN RECIPE EASY TO HAVE ON HAND FOR UNEXPECTED COMPANY OR TO MAKE AHEAD AND TO HEAT AND SERVE. HASH BROWN CASSEROLE I frozen bag of hash browns I cup grated cheddar cheese I can mushroom soup 250 m1 sour cream I small onion chopped fine milk to make moist Mix in large bowl, add enough milk to nicely moisten the whole mix and then put in a greased casserole dish and bake at 350 deg. for about 1 hour. Easy, a nice compliment to BBQd meat or pork chops in the oven. Great tasting. To lighten up the recipe use low fat cheese, skim milk and light sour cream. ENJOY! program for the residents. Hilda Lansbergen gave the treasurer's report and Carmel Sweeney, the minutes of the last meeting. Patti Groot handed out the monthly calendar of activi- ties at the home and invited everyone to attend when possible. So far the tuck shop cart proceeds are paying for the music therapy program which is held twice a month for the residents. Thank you to those who come out and help. A motion was made by Groot to buy more supplies for the cart. Canned good items were brought in for a draw made at the family dinner held recently.
