106 In Memoriam
STROUD - In memory of Don
and Doreen, wonderful parents
and loving grandparents who
passed away November 11,
2001.
If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.
Love Always, Connie, John,
Niki, Cole and Leah. XOXO

POLICE BRIEFS
Speeding offence
SOUTH HURON — On Oct. 25 at approximately 11
p.m. an officer was using radar on London Road in
South Huron. The officer spotted a black 1990 Chev
Cavalier travelling at a high rate of speed just north of
Exeter heading northbound. The officer stopped the
car, approached the driver and asked why he was
travelling at 144 km/h in a 80 -km/h zone. The 20 -
year -old male from Central Huron told the officer he
had to get home because his dog had been locked up
in a cage inside the home all day and needed to be let
outside. He was charged with the speeding offence
and will attend court in Goderich Dec. 16.
