Public School last week
called, 'Just say Moe'. On
Nov. 9, they are having an
`Artitudes Workshop' and
career symposium in the
gym. A Remembrance
Day assembly will be held
on Nov. 11. On Nov. 18, 1
p.m. at the Zurich Public
School there will be a flu
shot clinic.
The annual District #8
dinner/meeting for the
agricultural societies was
held at the Hensall
Community Centre on
Oct. 26. There was a very
good turnout. A delicious
roast beef dinner was
prepared by the Legion
members.
Zurich Fair Board held
their meeting at the com-
plex in Zurich on Oct. 28
with Marg Deichert and
Joan Vansligtenhorst
chairing the business
meeting in the absence of
president Paul Klopp. The
convention will be held in

Toronto Feb. 17 to 19 at
the Royal York Hotel.
Deichert gave a detailed
report of the District #8
meeting. The next meet-
ing is in Kirkton in 2005.

Once again the scrap -
booking weekend at the
Dashwood Community
Centre was a great suc-
cess. This group started
five years ago with about
eight girls and has grown
to over 50 women who
meet twice a year.
Organizer Lisa Giffin has
attendees from Strathroy,
Kitchener, Toronto,
Peterborough, Midland,
Newmarket, London,
Atlanta, Edmonton and
Houston, Texas, as well
as local residents. During
the weekend, they raised
$120 for the Cancer
