GRANTON - At St. Paul's Anglican
Church in Kirkton Oct. 24, Rev.

eucharist and Christine Downey
gave the message about the love of
Christ. Rev. Sim introduced Sister
Margaret who attended and spoke
briefly. Cathy Urquhart read the

The Perth Deanery Anglican
Church Women fall meeting was
hosted by St. Paul's ACW at the
church in Kirkton Oct. 21 com-
mencing with a dessert social. Rev.
Sim celebrated the holy eucharist
and the lessons were read by Kathy
and Emma Blackler.
A short program followed when

Quilt Project for Breast Cancer in
which she is involved. The project
has been very successful and has
quickly caught on across Canada. A
video of the work involved was also
shown and there was a display of
quilts and wall hangings. All pro-
ceeds from the project go to the
Cancer Society to help patients
where the funds are raised. Perth
Deanery ACW representative Hazel
Davis of Saintsbury was present and
gave a deanery update.
St. Paul's ACW president Verna
Blackler assisted with the registra-
tion and thanked everyone for
attending. The annual traditional
turkey supper was well attended at
Holy Trinity Anglican Church in
Lucan on Oct. 27.

PLAN H1-2-586 Spacious Two -Bedroom Home The ceilings in this stylish two-bedroom home are more than 10 feet high, adding
to its open, airy feeling. An unfinished basement offers the opportunity to add more bedrooms at a later date. The front entry is at the side of the home
and is protected by a small covered porch. A built-in bench in the foyer makes a handy spot to place packages. The staircase leading to the basement is
on one side of the foyer. Directly ahead is a large, informal great room, reached through a wide archway. A feature wall in the great room has a gas
fireplace and shelves for a television and other entertainment equipment. A wall of windows looks out to the covered rear sun deck which is accessed
by a door off the adjoining dining area. The kitchen has a functional pass-through design, ideal for use by several people at once. Double sinks and the
dishwasher are set into an angled counter that is raised on one side to serve as an eating bar. The master bedroom is a true suite, with the walk in
clothes closet, linen closet and the ensuite bathroom separated from the sleeping area. An arched doorway and a window seat add charm to the
spacious bedroom. A second bedroom is located at the front of the home. A three-piece bathroom beside it, makes this bedroom an ideal space for
overnight guests. A laundry room that opens to the double garage has a closet for coats and plenty of counter space for folding clothes. There is also a
second linen closet in the main hallway. The exterior is clad with horizontal wood siding and natural rock. Glass block around the front door adds interest
and provides the foyer with natural light. This home is 46 feet wide and 65 feet, 10 inches deep and has 1,764 square feet of finished space. Plans for
