EXETER — This week at South
Huron was a good one, as it
always is.
The senior music classes had a
fun time in London seeing the
Wind Ensemble from the
University of Western Ontario,
including a former South Huron
student banging away on the
drums. I myself didn't actually
get the chance to go to the con-
cert, but I only heard positive
things about it.
A two-day bullying workshop called
Hurt" took place at the Exeter Youth
Thursday and Friday. There were
Huron students involved, including
an extraordinary two days, focusing
ing occurs, the roles of the bully,
bystander, and also how to facilitate
workshop for peers and younger students.

In treating pain in children, there aren't a lot of
options. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen are the
two drugs primarily used. Sometimes,
alternating the Iwo drugs every six hours is
quite useful. Careful dosing is very important. Reading
on the package can sometimes be confusing so
can help clarify these doses for you.
In Canada, the laws regarding labelling and content
drugs are very good. You can trust the content of
can their brand name equivalents.
When choosing an iron supplement, are they all
though they all may say "300mg" on the label,
products contain different amounts of actual iron.
gluconate contains 35 mg; ferrous sulphate contains
ferrous fumarate contains 100mg of iron. And the
300mg. Quite a range!
By the way, iron is best absorbed taken with a glass
juice on an empty stomach. Food can decrease
absorption by 50% but because of gastric irritation,
do take it with food. So the ferrous fumarate might
choice in these cases.
