Kitchen.

SOUTH HURON - The
OPP was contacted about
the theft of a motorcycle
from a residence on
Huron Street in South
Huron Oct. 14 at 8:15
a.m.
Someone forced open a
shed located at the rear of
the property overnight,
cut a heavy chain and
removed a 2003
gold/black Kawasaki
Model 65 dirt bike along
with two motorcycle hel-
mets. The bike is valued
at $4,800.

Traffic
tickets
HURON - Officers
issued 125 traffic related
tickets last week.
Speeding accounts for
105 of the tickets issued.
There were also six liquor
violations and others
were issued for failing to
stop for a stop sign, failing
to yield the right of way,
failing to surrender insur-
ance, driving in contra-
vention of licence, failing
to drive in the marked
lane, following too closely,
crowding a driver, care-
less driving, making an
unsafe turn, failing to dis-
play two licence plates,
driving without a muffler,
seat -belt violations and
trespassing to property.
The police wants to
remind citizens to
remember Road Watch.
Drivers are encouraged to
carry the forms in their
vehicles, record incidents
of poor driving and send
them in.
Dinghy
stolen from
marina
BAYFIELD - On Oct. 12
at 9:15 p.m. the OPP was
contacted about the theft
of a dinghy from the
Bayfield Village Marina.
The victim told police

chain attached to a bigger
boat in the marina
overnight Oct. 8. An Avon
Rover 310 Rib -Lite dinghy
was stolen. The dinghy
had grey inflatable pon-
toons on the side with a
white fiberglass bottom. It
is valued at $4,500.

meetings for the month of
October at the Lutheran
Church Hall every
Wednesday from 6:30 to

attended the Beaveree
held in Clinton and on
Oct. 6 they went on a
scavenger hunt, experi-
menting on coloured
leaves and static electrici-
ty. Their next meeting
Oct. 26 will be a fun time
and Halloween party with
the Cubs and Scouts; held
at the Mennonite Church
from 6:30 to 8 p.m., wear
costumes. Apple day in
the village is Saturday
morning, Oct. 30.
The Zurich Scouts and
Cubs meetings for
October are being held at
the Mennonite Church
Hall Monday and Tuesday
evenings. Some Cub activ-
ities are a popcorn
fundraiser, a hike to
Bannockburn
Conservation Trail and on
Oct. 23 and 24 a
Sixer/Seconder Camp in
St. Marys at Wildwood.
Ten members from the
Zurich Golden Agers
Group recently attended
the Zone #8 rally in
Seaforth along with presi-
dent Lottie Grenier. The
next euchre card party is
on Mon., Oct. 25, 7:30
p.m. at the Zurich com-
plex in the small room.
