Shepherd mix dog. She has been spayed
and vaccinated. Cheekie is a gentle, sweet
dog and gets along well with older children.
Cheekie likes to be the boss dog and would
be at her best if she were the only dog.
Cheekie is an excellent dog in the house and
never makes a mess. Cheekie is a medium
size dog and weighs about 50 pounds. She
will steal your heart!

SOUTH HURON — An OPP officer spotted a blue
1990 Ford Tempo travelling southbound out of Exeter
on London Road with no taillights Oct. 15 at 2 a.m. The
officer followed the vehicle, which started to weave
and crossed the lane a few times, before stopping it
and finding a 14 -year-old female driving the car. The
officer learned the female had taken the keys to the
vehicle earlier in the night and took the car to pick up
a friend in Huron Park when everybody was in bed.
She has been charged with driving a vehicle without a
licence.
Jewelry stolen
from residence
BAYFIELD — On Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. a woman con-
tacted the OPP over the theft of jewelry from a Louisa
Street residence in Bayfield. The woman told police
someone entered the home sometime between Sept. 19
and Oct. 5, entered a bedroom and stole $14,650
worth of jewelry. Nine rings, some with stone settings
of topaz, emeralds and diamonds, six necklaces a cou-
ple were strings of pearls along with a Cartouche and
Damascus design, a set of ear rings and a gold wrist
watch were stolen.
The investigation continues. If you can help solve the
crime call the Huron OPP or contact Crime Stoppers at
