THE PIERCE FAMILY ****************** www.dancelandlakeside.ca SOUTH HURON — An OPP officer spotted a blue 1990 Ford Tempo travelling southbound out of Exeter on London Road with no taillights Oct. 15 at 2 a.m. The officer followed the vehicle, which started to weave and crossed the lane a few times, before stopping it and finding a 14 -year-old female driving the car. The officer learned the female had taken the keys to the vehicle earlier in the night and took the car to pick up a friend in Huron Park when everybody was in bed. She has been charged with driving a vehicle without a licence. Jewelry stolen from residence BAYFIELD — On Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. a woman con- tacted the OPP over the theft of jewelry from a Louisa Street residence in Bayfield. The woman told police someone entered the home sometime between Sept. 19 and Oct. 5, entered a bedroom and stole $14,650 worth of jewelry. Nine rings, some with stone settings of topaz, emeralds and diamonds, six necklaces a cou- ple were strings of pearls along with a Cartouche and Damascus design, a set of ear rings and a gold wrist watch were stolen.
