Caven Church welcomes guest
EXETER - Exeter's Caven Presbyterian
Church is extremely honoured to have
Peter Garland as guest speaker for its
anniversary service to be held Oct. 24 at
10:30 a.m.
Garland is no stranger to many area
radio listeners. His broadcasting career
began in Stratford in 1970 and following
a move to London two years later, he
hosted morning shows on stations CKSL
and CFPL for some 30 years.
Garland's community service in lead-
ership roles has been outstanding over
the years as well. He has served for 12
years on the board of directors for the
London and Area Food Bank and has
been very involved with various aspects
of Jesse's Journey.
Caven Church extends a warm wel-
come to all visitors who wish to join the
celebration and share Garland's mes-
sage.
