Catalogues registration free. POLICE BRIEFS Charges laid EXETER - On Aug. 31 at about 6:30 p.m. OPP were called to an apartment complex on Carling Street in Exeter about an assault. The officer learned that some people were sitting out on a section of grass below some balconies when an argument ensued between two women. One woman was on a balcony while the other was sit- ting in a chair. The matter became more heated with one woman from the balcony throwing a stone ornament at the other, striking her in the body. The woman received minor injuries and was taken to South Huron Hospital where she was treated and released. After the assault occurred a second person from the balcony threatened the life of another person. As a result of the investigation two people were charged. A 21 -year-old woman and a 24 -year-old man have been charged with assault and uttering threats, respectively. They will attend court in Exeter Nov. 25.
