'Summary
Tuesday: The fed steers and heifers
sold at prices $2 to $3 higher. Fancy and
double muscle steers and heifers sold 80
to 90 with sales to 90.25. Choice steers
and heifers sold 70 to 75, and 2nd cut
steers and heifers sold 64 to 68. The
cows sold at prices steady with last
weeks.
Thursday: The veal sold on a strong
active trade with prices steady to last
week. The lambs sold on a good active
trade with prices up $5 to $10.
Friday: All weights and classes of
stockers sold on a strong active trade.
Steers
There were 318 steers on offer.
Owen B. Martin, Wellesley consigned
one blonde steer weighing 1175 lbs
which sold to Dominion Meat Packers for
86. His overall offering of ten steers
averaged 1452 lbs selling for an average
price of 77.78.
Ten steers consigned by Walter
Nicholson, Monkton averaged 1435 lbs
selling for an average price of 72.05 with
his top gold steer weighing 1325 lbs sell-
ing for 85.25.
Tobias Brubacher, Elmira consigned
two black steers averaging 1343 lbs
which sold for 83.25. His overall offering
of thirteen steers averaged 1398 lbs sell-
ing for an average price of 80.34.

Heifers
There were 210 heifers on offer.
Enoch Martin, Linwood consigned
twenty-six blue heifers averaging 1374
lbs which sold for an average price of
82.76 with sales up to 90.25.
One red heifer consigned by Dave
Baker, Brussels weighed 1200 lbs which
sold for 80.25. His overall offering of
eight heifers averaged 1259 lbs selling
for an average price of 73.62.
George Chettleburgh, Wingham con-
signed three limo heifers averaging 1245
lbs which sold for an average price of
75.27 with sales to 75.75.
Cows
There were 126 cows on offer. D1 &
D2: 25-32 sales to 37; D3: 18-22; D4:
10-15; Shell Cows: 5-10.
Roy McKay, Mitchell consigned three
char cows averaging 1268 lbs which sold
for an average price of 28.52 with sales
up to 37.
One limo cow consigned by Dave Batte,
Walkerton weighed 1330 lbs selling for
34.50.
Gerald Rathwell, Brucefield consigned
one red cow weighing 1550 lbs which
sold for 34.
Bulls
There were 11 bulls on offer selling
20-37 sales to 39.50.
Gary Grubb, Mildmay consigned one
limo bull weighing 2105 lbs which sold
to Dominion Meat Packers for 39.50.
One Sim bull consigned by Theresa
Carson, Thornloe weighed 2070 lbs sell-
ing to Dominion Meat Packers for 37.
Veal
There were 105 head of veal on offer.
Beef: 88-115 sales to 126; Good

Mark & Paul Pennington, Mildmay con-
signed one gold veal steer weighing 660
lbs which sold to Holly Park Meat
